Strengthening New Jersey’s position as a premier global logistics hub, LX Pantos, Korea’s leading logistics provider, officially opened its new Americas regional headquarters at the Glenpointe Center in Teaneck.
The grand opening ceremony, held last week, drew a high-profile crowd of company executives, local dignitaries, and international partners to celebrate the strategic expansion of a company that oversees a massive network spanning more than 40 countries.
The move to Teaneck’s Glenpointe Center represents a major milestone for LX Pantos Americas. By establishing its regional nerve center in Bergen County, the company gains immediate proximity to the Port of New York and New Jersey—the East Coast’s largest seaport—and a concentrated corridor of global corporate partners.
“This new chapter underscores our continued commitment to innovation, partnership and a broad, deeply integrated portfolio,” David Bang, CEO of LX Pantos Americas said. “Gathering together with valued customers and community leaders provided a shared vision for the future of global supply chains.”
The event was marked by a formal ribbon-cutting featuring Teaneck Mayor Mark Schwartz, who praised the company for its investment in the township and its role in supply chain innovation. Also in attendance were representatives from the offices of U.S. Senator Andy Kim and Assemblywoman Ellen Park, underscoring the state-level importance of the relocation.
The ceremony highlighted the bridge between Korean heritage and New Jersey business:
- A Collaborative Mural: Local artist Hyesu Lee created a large-scale mural in the new office, depicting how logistics connects everyday life. VIP guests were invited to add their own brushstrokes to the piece.
- Cultural Exchange: At the conclusion of the event, guests were presented with Yakgwa, a traditional Korean honey-cookie dessert, symbolizing the company’s roots in Seoul.
- The Americas Gallery: A new on-site gallery allows visitors to explore the company’s evolution from its founding in 1977 to its current status as a titan of sea, air, and rail logistics.
LX Pantos provides end-to-end solutions that are critical to the “just-in-time” delivery models used by modern retailers and manufacturers. The new Teaneck headquarters will oversee operations across both North and South America, combining global standards with local execution.
Yong Ho Lee, president & CEO of LX Pantos, traveled from Korea for the ceremony, emphasizing that the Teaneck office is a vital link in a worldwide network that keeps global commerce moving.
The arrival of LX Pantos at the Glenpointe Center further solidifies the complex’s reputation as a magnet for international firms. With a workforce dedicated to managing complex shipping routes across the globe, the headquarters is expected to be a significant addition to the Bergen County professional landscape.
