Lowenstein Sandler elevates seven to partnership, bolstering tech, finance and litigation groups

Lowenstein Sandler has announced the election of seven attorneys to its partnership, effective in 2026. The promotions strategically strengthen the firm’s key practice areas, including cybersecurity, venture capital, intellectual property and litigation, across its national platform.

The new partners are Rasmeet Chahil, Laura Cicirelli, Trevor Levine, Eugene Mishchenko, Michael Papandrea, Raquel Smith and Heather Weaver.

Gary Wingens, Lowenstein Chair and managing partner, stated that the elevations reflect the ongoing execution of the firm’s strategic plan and its commitment to strengthening its partner ranks.

“We are thrilled to welcome these fine lawyers to our growing partnership,” Wingens said. “They demonstrate our commitment to strengthening our partner ranks across key practice areas and our national platform, while also recognizing the exceptional talent of the lawyers being promoted.”

The new class spans diverse and high-growth practices, including critical areas of digital assets and emerging technologies:

  • Trevor Levine (Washington, D.C.) joins the partnership in the Commodities, Futures & Derivatives Group and Lowenstein Crypto, focusing on financial services firms and digital asset companies navigating complex regulatory frameworks, including the Commodity Exchange Act and federal securities laws.

  • Eugene Mishchenko (Utah) is an expert in Intellectual Property and Patent Counseling. Holding a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, he specializes in the patent prosecution of modern technology such as wireless communication, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and autonomous vehicles. The promotions also solidify the firm’s litigation and restructuring capabilities:

Chahil is also the President-Elect of the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey.
