Cherry Hill-based elder care law firm Rothkoff Law Group on Monday announced Carrie Scattergood has been elevated to managing partner — the firm’s first female in the role.
Recognizing her outstanding dedication to elder care law and her continued leadership within the firm, Scattergood’s promotion is a reflection of the trust she’s earned, the integrity she carries, and the difference she makes. She is a trusted advocate for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and the families who care for them.
A practicing attorney licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Scattergood brings a unique perspective to her work, grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of the complexities facing her clients. Her areas of focus include elder law, estate planning, asset protection, guardianships, and life care planning.
Scattergood earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University and her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School. She began her legal career clerking for the Honorable James F. Mulvihill, J.S.C., in Middlesex County, and later practiced law alongside her father. Today, in addition to her legal work, she leads a dedicated team of associate attorneys, paralegals, and elder care professionals.
“Carrie has an extraordinary way of meeting clients where they are, guiding them through difficult life transitions with both legal skill and heartfelt compassion,” Jerry Rothkoff, senior partner and Shareholder said. “She exemplifies the spirit and mission of our firm, and her promotion to partner is a reflection of her leadership and unwavering commitment to the families we serve.”
“Carrie has a remarkable way of making complex legal matters feel manageable for families during life’s most overwhelming moments,” Bryan Adler, senior partner at Rothkoff Law Group said.
