Schenck Price welcomes new associate Priya Persaud

Priya Persaud is joining Schenck, Price, Smith & King LLP as associate in its Corporate Law Practice Group, the Florham Park firm announced Friday.

Persaud most recently worked on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the computer and electrical engineering fields. These included data center technology, artificial intelligence systems, financial technology, and wireless, security, and authentication systems.

Schenck Price Managing Partner John Ursin praised her future with the firm. 

“She has a very valuable area of expertise in intellectual property and we expect that she will significantly expand her skills and expertise on a wide range of corporate Law matters.”

While at law school, Priya served as a student attorney in the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic where she counselled clients on trademark, copyright, and patent matters.

She also served as the senior articles editor for the Rutgers Law Review; vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Society; and co-chair of the Asian/Pacific Law Students Association.
