Sherrill transition launches public portal: New Jerseyans invited to apply for administration roles

Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill’s Gubernatorial Transition announced the launch of a temporary transition website, www.nj.gov/govelect, which will serve as a central hub for New Jersey residents looking to get involved with the incoming administration.

The key feature of the new site is a resume submission portal designed to accept applications from individuals interested in public service positions across all state departments and agencies in the Sherrill Administration.

Sherrill emphasized that the administration’s formation is focused on reflecting the state’s best attributes.

“Our transition is focused on building an administration that reflects the best of New Jersey—its innovation, diversity, and deep commitment to public service,” Sherrill said. “Our transition is an invitation for talented and passionate people from across the state to step up and help us move New Jersey forward together.”

The online portal allows applicants to submit their resumes and specify their experience and areas of interest, helping the transition team connect with potential candidates for a variety of roles.

While the current site serves as a temporary hub, a full-featured transition website, complete with more information, news, announcements, and resources, is scheduled to be rolled out in the coming weeks ahead of the inauguration.
