Walmart is looking to hire skilled tradespeople to join its Facility Services team and is hosting several hiring events across New Jersey the week of Sept. 8 to find qualified candidates. The company is seeking to fill various technician roles, including:
- General Maintenance Technicians
- Food Technicians
- Commercial Rack Refrigeration Technicians
- Exterior Services Technicians
- Landscaping Technicians
- Irrigation Technicians
Interested applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. They should also bring a valid, state-issued photo ID and any relevant certifications or a resume if available.
Compensation for these positions varies based on the role, qualifications, and experience. Exterior service positions start at $19-$34 per hour, general maintenance roles begin at $22-$40 per hour, and refrigeration/HVAC technician positions start at $27-$45 per hour.
