Wells, Jaworski, & Liebman announce three promotions to firm

Wells, Jaworski, & Liebman, based in Paramus, has announced three promotions in the firm.

Jennifer Berardo and Katie Razin have each been promoted as a partner, and Jameson Van Eck has been named an equity partner. 

Managing Partner Andrew Kohut praised their work and success in the region. 

“Our practice continues to grow as we represent developers and municipalities across not only New Jersey, but the region, more generally,” he said. “Jenn, Katie and Jameson have all played important roles in our success, and we are excited to recognize their contributions.”

  • Berardo: Started as an associate, she concentrates her practice in land use, redevelopment, zoning, real estate, civil and commercial litigation, and outdoor advertising. She represents residential, commercial and industrial developers seeking State approvals, as well as handles all aspects of land entitlements, including lease negotiations, land acquisitions/divestitures, and development applications before local, county and state governmental agencies.  
  • Razin: Also starred as an associate, she works on land use, zoning, and municipal law, working in all facets of development. Razin serves as a board attorney to planning and zoning boards throughout Hunterdon, Bergen and Union counties.
  • Van Eck: Works as chairman of the firm’s Litigation Department, where he focuses on land use, development, real estate and construction matters, commercial and contract disputes, partnership disputes, estate and guardianship matters, commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters, condominium and homeowner association matters, commercial tax appeals, and municipal court matters.
