NJM earns J.D. Power ‘Outstanding Claims Experience’ honor for 8th year

NJM Insurance Group (NJM) has once again received the prestigious J.D. Power certification for providing “An Outstanding Auto Claims Experience” for its Personal Lines customers. This marks the eighth consecutive year the New Jersey-based insurer has earned the designation, underscoring its consistent commitment to quality and reliability for auto policyholders.

“The J.D. Power certification highlights NJM’s dedication to meeting the needs and expectations of our policyholders,” Carol Voorhees, NJM President and CEO said. “We keep service at the forefront of our organization and are honored to be certified once again for our ongoing commitment to customer experience.”

Exceeding claims process standards

The J.D. Power Auto Claims Certification Program℠ is based on a rigorous independent audit that includes a survey of recent claimants and an extensive evaluation of the insurer’s claims process across all key areas. NJM’s performance in the audit was exemplary, satisfying 66 out of 68 evaluation metrics, achieving a 97% success rate—well above the minimum 80% requirement.

Since first qualifying for the certification in 2018, NJM has continually invested in enhancing the claims experience. Recent updates to streamline the online process include new features that allow claimants to simultaneously identify their repair shops and arrange for temporary rental vehicles.
