Fast-food enthusiasts in Union County have a major incentive to wake up early this weekend. Flynn Group LP, the franchise operator and Wendy’s largest franchisee, announced the official grand re-opening celebration of its newly remodeled restaurant located at 210 West First Avenue in Roselle.
To mark the milestone, the restaurant is hosting a high-stakes promotion on Saturday, June 13: the first 100 customers in line when the store opens for the event at 10:30 AM will win free Wendy’s food for a full year.
While the building’s doors initially opened quietly to the public on Monday, May 11 following the construction phase, this Saturday represents the location’s official community celebration.
The extensive structural overhaul transformed the 3,595-square-foot footprint into a more contemporary, bright asset. Alongside a completely updated interior design layout, the building now features high-tech guest amenities, including a fully customizable Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage dispenser.
The location serves customers across an expansive 20.5-hour daily schedule, keeping both its dining room and drive-thru open from 6:30 AM to 3:00 AM every day.
Beyond aesthetic upgrades, the project serves as a notable economic driver for the Union County area. According to company officials, the newly redesigned restaurant is injecting 45 new jobs into the local workforce.
Flynn Group is actively hiring for positions across multiple skill levels at the Roselle hub, including hourly crew members, shift leaders, assistant managers, and restaurant general managers.
