Charters launches Juegos AI Lab

Multilingual platform, time to be available for the World Cup and nation's 250th anniversary, connects residents, small businesses and municipalities through local discovery

Juegos AI Lab, which launched its integrated Juegos Social enterprise earlier this year, offers a multilingual digital platform that helps residents, visitors, small businesses and municipalities connect through local discovery, communication and year-round engagement.

Designed as an evergreen enterprise engine for local economic growth, Juegos supports stronger public participation, small business visibility and local economies across everyday community life, including major civic and cultural moments.

Three innovations connect through a single access point, Juegos Social mobile app:

  • Juegos Social, a mobile app where residents, locals and visitors discover local events, places and activities;
  • Juegos Business, a platform built to help small businesses strengthen visibility, and build customer connections and engagement;
  • Juegos Government, an enterprise system developed for municipalities, counties, states and nonprofit organizations seeking better ways to support local businesses and to engage the public.

Together, these innovations create a holistic ecosystem by helping communities share information efficiently and create more opportunities for people to discover venues for interaction.

In a crowded space of scheduling apps, Juegos is unique. Juegos is currently available in six languages and is expanding to 20. The platform serves local communities, and visitors from all areas across the globe, by making promotions and events available for real-time cultural participation, made more accessible through geospatial interactive maps. It offers universal lifestyle experiences and multi-generational activities in a hyper-personalized way, serving a broad range of community stakeholders.

Formed in New Jersey to serve New Jersey, Juegos AI Lab is led by some of the state’s brightest innovators and is designed as a national model of innovation advancing government economic initiatives. More than 80 undergraduate and graduate academic translational researchers from within the state have helped shape the functionality of the platform’s innovations over the past three years. All commercial development has been incubated domestically, and the company plans only closed-system agentic AI modeling based on libraries of practical and government data to help users improve performance. No data is sold by Juegos AI Lab.

In addition to communications and outreach tools, Juegos includes features that help communities better understand, track and measure local activity and economic signals over time. This data-informed approach supports planning, visibility, community participation and stronger local economic development strategies.

Organically, what began as a mobile app idea to address mental health and the epidemic of loneliness has evolved into an economic enterprise platform serving multiple stakeholders with significant pain points. With its evolution, the platform’s use cases now span the professional sports arena and world stage, including fandom and social connection.

The startup is deliberate in its mission of community activation, inclusion and participation. It was recently selected as the official innovation vendor to partner on the La Plaza de Fútbol at American Dream activation, announced as part of the larger “Dream Fan Fest.”

The company notes that this focus is especially timely as New Jersey prepares for the country’s 250th anniversary commemorations and as the New York/New Jersey region hosts FIFA World Cup 2026, including the final and seven other matches at MetLife Stadium, located adjacent to American Dream.

“Juegos is about helping everyday people stay hyper-locally connected, visible and engaged in their communities,” Founder Elisa Charters said.

“We understand and address the pain points of local small business owners, and we offer human-first technology as a practical way to support everyday life, from local activities to major public moments like the World Cup.” The Juegos Social mobile app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, is free for all users.

The company is offering a free enterprise pilot period on the Juegos Government platform through December 2026, and a free one-year subscription to the Juegos Business platform for small business members in good standing of New Jersey statewide chambers that are part of the New Jersey Small Business Growth Council coalition.

Businesses or entities registering for La Plaza de Fútbol must pay a $262.50 fee to reconcile their IRS-registered business name with their EIN and ensure business legitimacy. Any small business that registers for La Plaza also receives one year of free access to the Juegos Business platform.
